A plan to interfere in Queensland’s housing market is being criticised for exacerbating the state’s current rental crisis. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has confirmed her government are considering putting a cap on rental prices in order to mitigate the state’s housing crisis.

If governments were competent, there wouldn't be a rental crisis. These ministers need to be punished for their incompetence.

I agree with Palaszczuk and Sydney should follow suit! It's way out of control and the only ones who are getting rich from this, are the Real Estate agencies. They are the ones raising the rent and not the owners!
