It will be the group's first hotel in Glasgow and the fourth property to join their UK portfolio. Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel will be located on the west side of the city centre in the Pegasus House building.
Once complete, the hotel will boast 179 rooms set across ten floors, spanning nine premium room-styles.Mitch Gaglardi, Director of Sandman Hotel Group United Kingdom and Ireland, said: “This particular hotel is especially close to my heart, as I spent a number of years living in Glasgow creating great memories with my wife and kids. We’re excited to add a further 179 bedrooms and suites to the city for people to come and enjoy its world-famous hospitality.”
Upon completion guests can enjoy a choice of nine room-styles, including suites, set across ten floors – as well as premium amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, a fitness centre, and much more. The hotel will also feature a steakhouse and bar.
