Construction work is set to start in late autumn

A COUNCILLOR has welcomed the demolition of derelict tenements in a Johnstone housing scheme.

It is understood that rats had been nesting in the empty tenements, which were also repeatedly targeted by firebugs last year. It is understood that Link Group's new development in Maple Drive will consist of more than 60 homes, with construction work set to start in late autumn.
