Some staff members lost their jobs as the hotel became used for asylum seeker accommodation. A leaflet appeared in a branch of Coop in Long Eaton advertising today's protest at 11am - on St George's Day -. But a counter protest is planned by shocked residents - some who have received leaflets of the planned action through their letterboxes - and do not support the views of Patriotic Alliance.
The leaflet, seen by Nottinghamshire Live, makes a series of claims, including: "The people of Long Eaton were never asked if they wanted hundreds of migrants to be pushed onto their community".should be able to live their lives.
