New research from UCLA indicates the state will have to double or triple the amount of land set aside for housing for Gov. Gavin Newsom to have a chance of reaching his housing production goals.

Go buy some land in Mexico. They will come.

Plenty of land in the desert. Everywhere else is already too dense, too poorly served by infrastructure, and too expensive. Overpopulation and expensive subsidies for affordable housing penalize the middle class.

Does he plan on building more unaffordable housing? We’ve already got a shitload.

Why don't they just start confiscating private homes so the illegal aliens can live in comfort?

There’s plentyof land in Victorville.

The days of SFR on 8,000 square foot lots is over. Also, most cities have building codes that allow you to build to 3 stories without variances. I just hope the people eventually get around to discussing sewage infrastructure.
