SAN JOSE — A housing development in San Jose consisting of about 100 apartments has landed key chunks of the construction financing needed to build the project, Santa Clara County real estate records show.
The six-story development would consist of 99 residential units and be a 100% affordable project, San Jose city planning documents show. San Jose and Santa Clara County were among the key providers of the construction financing for the housing development, documents filed on June 12 with the county Recorder’s Office show.
The development would consist of 97 units restricted to people making less than the area median household income, which for Santa Clara County was $168,500 a year as of 2022. Two of the apartments would be manager units and wouldn’t be restricted by income.
