As someone trying to sell, I agree. It's all swings and roundabouts. If buying and selling at the same time, both will currently reflect a comparative price. And Brexit uncertainty has lowered prices. This is a major plus for first time buyers.
If the UK makes life sufficiently miserable for those 3 million EU citizens that live there, (the “hostile environment”) they will all return to their countries of origin leaving behind places to live. That may cause a slump in house prices and less homelessness. Hurray!
