The former Manheim Car King is vacant on Paxton Street in Swatara Township. February 3, 2023. Dan Gleiter | dgleiter@pennlive.comThe building at 3570 Paxton St. was demolished by PennDOT as part of theIt is one of many buildings in that area of Paxton Street that are being demolished by PennDOT.

The first phase, a widened I-83 near Union Deposit Road has been completed. The second phase stretches from Union Deposit Interchange to 29th Street, and includes the reconstruction of the Eisenhower Interchange and portions of Route 322, I-283, and Eisenhower Boulevard. The third phase encompasses work from 29th Street to the Susquehanna River.
