Designers of a housing project to support people out of homelessness have been criticised by a senior Trafford councillor for putting forward a ‘ridiculous’ planning application.

It’s difficult to get onto the market and there’s a genuine shortage. Although planning officers recommended approval of the scheme a report to the committee was critical of certain aspects of the proposal.
