Huntsville’s Village of Providence expansion moving forward

The expansion of the Village of Providence is moving forward.

MREC Placemakers VOP, LLC is the developer for the expansion, which includes 84 homes in phase 13, 67 homes in phase 14 and 37 homes in the 15th phase. The expansion is north of U.S. 72 and west of Providence Main.During a town hall earlier this year, current residents and residents from neighboring subdivisions voiced concerns about the installation of sewer lines and an increase in traffic with the additional homes.
