Two men have been arrested in Benoni, Gauteng, on human trafficking charges.

The men were found after police received a tip-off that men were jumping out of the window of a house in Northmead and decided to conduct a stake out. "During an investigation, it was discovered that the suspects were illegally kept in the premises and would be released when their families paid the owner of the premises, who had assisted them to enter the country illegally."
