Donald Patience, known as ‘Prentice’ to friends, was found dead at a terraced property in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, at around 10.30am on Tuesday morning. A post-mortem examination did not establish a cause of death but confirmed Mr Patience’s death was suspicious, police said.Greater Manchester Police said Ian Gary Connell, 39, from Bolton, has now been charged with murder and was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.Greater Manchester Police said officers were first called to the address to reports of a burglary, with Mr Patience’s white labradoodle dog being taken.
