The $40 flat fee will be swapped for a new amount based on the assessed value of all properties within the municipal storm water service boundary.

The right-of-way charge is for the maintenance of roads, bridges, trees, lighting, signage, guard rails and the drainage of storm water which comes from public streets into the Halifax Water storm water system.
