It should be. Instead the upper and middle classes buy up properties to use as invesments whilst the rest of us get exploited

Sadly not enough social housing is being built to replace the stock that was sold off by governments in the past, council homes, such as in mining villages when they sold their stock off, factories closed and they sold stock off. Many bought their homes which was a good thing.

Used to be called council housing until we were all encouraged to be greedy. Although, keeping a house in the family is a great thing for those who wish to live there and pay rent. Rents paid to the council for local services must be a good thing.

It’s not a right if someone else has to provide it. Get a job, a roommate and pay your own way.

Housing should be a human right. And food. And healthcare.
