An ex-detective shot in the face in an alleged hit by two Irish tradies chasing an unpaid debt may not have been the intended target.

The shooting sparked a six-day man hunt that ended in northern NSW on Wednesday afternoon, where police arrested Mark Dixon, 30, and Jack Harvey, 26, in Broken Head.The pair had stopped in Nagambie in central Victoria before crossing the border. Last year he posted numerous videos online promoting his selling skills under his company name Morgan Enterprises, based in and around the Castle Hill area in NSW.
