The Federal Government plans to withhold funding from the Northern Territory's $1.1 billion remote housing program unless 70 per cent of its workers are indigenous, documents reveal.

The documents appear to contradict claims made on Thursday by Indigenous Affairs Minister Nigel Scullion, who has accused the NT Government of reneging on the original terms of the housing deal.

Is that 70% of workers to be Aboriginal, or workers who are at least 70% Aboriginal? It’s going to be stretch either way.

They need to be skilled and educated to know what Time is ...quite frankly many are illiterate & have no concept of time...

Using indigenous businesses that are certified as 70% or more indigenous owned is the only way to go to get the job done and limit fraudulent acts by businesses!
