Homes and lives are under threat as bushfires burn south-east of Melbourne

"Huge bushfire in the national park in front of house," wrote Gembrook resident Sam Gordon on Instagram.Several bushfires raging south-east of Melbourne are threatening homes and lives as temperatures in the city's outer suburbs hit 40 degrees.

Victoria is in the grips of a four-day heatwave, with sweltering days and hot nights forecast before a cool change on Sunday.

It's other street name is crystal meth. The biggest haul of 'Ice' came from a Japanese pharmaceutical company when Japan outlawed Adderall. They dumped it here and the AFP found it. Fuck this bad drug These tests are such a scam. We've just been through this in NZ - a bunch of people whipped up a frenzy of fear to make heaps of money using tests which could be set off by someone smoking meth vaguely close to the house, with no impact on health. Don't fall for it Australia.
