South Lanarkshire Council has been shortlisted in four categories for the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Scotland Housing Awards 2023.

The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.The second nomination for ‘Excellence in Tenant Scrutiny’, recognises the efforts of the Customer Scrutiny Group, comprising a core of customers who work in partnership with the council to undertake scrutiny activities to enhance the development and delivery of housing services.

The third nomination for ‘Young Achiever in Housing’ recognises the valuable role played by Daniel Cairns, a Housing Assistant within the Homeless Access and Assessment Service, who has shown creativity and innovation in finding solutions for households presenting to the council as homeless. Daniel has also proved to be a great role model for new members of the team, helping them to build skills and confidence in their roles.
