Luxury property: Smorgon family sell $30m Toorak mansion to Stephen Arvanitis, son of aged care mogul Peter Arvinitis.

members of Melbourne’s billionaire Smorgon dynasty, has quietly sold in an off-market deal understood to be worth about $30 million, according to local real estate sources.

Company documents show the young purchaser Stephen Arvanitis resides at the same Irving Road address as his parents, and before that, the family’s home on Toorak’s Grange Road, which sold for $10.25 million in 2020.Now, the next generation of Toorak-based Arvanitises is swapping the Doric column-lined facade of his parent’s home for the Boston Ivy-enveloped grandeur of the Smorgon abode.
