Due to rain in the forecast, the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center has announced it is postponing its Open House one week. The public is invited to attend Saturday, Feb. 17, when any pet adoption will cost just $16—in honor of the shelter's 16th anniversary.

Animal shelters across the country are hurting for space, and that includes the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center in Sierra Vista. This week, the shelter has held an adoption donation drive.
