The bones of the saint's forearm were “rediscovered” in 1999, having been kept in a cardboard box for six years - and apparently it's common for Glasgow men to propose to their girlfriends in the church.

Though his flower-crowned skull is famously displayed in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, Rome, some of his relics are also said to be housed in a small box in a church found in the south side of Glasgow. This can be found in a small wooden casket in a Gorbals church on Ballater Street.
