Tuesday, Monroe County teamed up with housing advocates to roll out new plans — totaling $7.8 million — to not only address the crisis, but help those who struggle to find reasonably priced homes."The shortage of affordable housing requires new thinking and strategic investments," said Monroe County Executive Adam Bello.
