The run-down property on Croftfoot Road was boarded up and left to decay for nearly a decade.

The property was inherited by its owner before property developer Connaire McGuinness took on the big renovation project. The former paramedic, from East Kilbride, with the help of Barry Wilson and Iain McGill worked to transform the house, reports

"It’s one of the biggest projects we’ve taken on but was an opportunity to do something special. We had a rough idea of what we wanted it to look like. The end goal was to bring a liveable home to the market." Connaire and the team decided to go for a profit share option on the property. This means that when it sells, they will recover the costs of the renovation and split the profit with the current owner.

"It’ll soon be someone’s family home and we won’t be able to pop down anymore. It’s going to be strange to see it go even though we are absolutely delighted to see how it’s turned out.
