A landlord who said she was sick of feeling 'demonised' by the public for owning property has gone head-to-head with a Greens MP on live television.

She revealed to the panel of economists and politicians why she felt"just so angry" about the way landlords were being portrayed. "Why do politicians feel that they need to keep taxing or changing the rules for how to claim our legitimate business expenses," she said."I’m just so angry that as a landlord I shouldn’t have to feel guilty about owning property, or properties in our case.

"And the human consequences of a tax system and a rental system where a landlord can put up the rent by as much as they want at the end of every lease," he said.
