A child who fell from a window in a property in Glasgow's southside has now been released from hospital following treatment to 'serious injuries' - police say that enquiries remain ongoing.

An update has been provided after a child fell from a window onto a balcony in the southside of Glasgow.

At around 3.10pm on Saturday, March 30, the youngster fell from a property window onto a balcony below on Glasgow's Victoria Road. They were rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where they were treated for "serious but not life-threatening" injuries.READ MORE: Glasgow man found dead and another rushed to hospital after 'reports of concern' at Scotstoun property

We can now confirm that the child has since been released from hospital and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10pm on Saturday, 30 March, we received a report of a child falling from a window onto a balcony at a property on Victoria Road in Glasgow. “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
