Investors Mutual CEO Damon Hambly and his wife Philippa Haydon have listed their Bellevue Hill home for $23 million, while Sue Ingham is downsizing in Darling Point.

The couple and their brood of five children are preparing to farewell their four-storey, six-bedroom, five-bathroom home which they purchased as a dated bungalow for $3.7 million in 2010.

Now, 13 years and a major renovation later, the Suttie Road abode is back on the market with a $23 million guide. The Hambly-Haydons took up residence in the 2016, returning from a decade-long stint in Hong Kong where Mr Hambly worked as a Macquarie Group executive, helming investment solutions across Asia, and later as COO of global investment group Natixis.

After their return to the harbour city, the pair enlisted architect to the well-heeled, Luigi Rosselli, to overhaul the 1923-built renovator’s delight into a timeless, art-filled family abode with 560-square metres of internal living space. The property is slated for a May 2 auction with Ray White Double Bay’s Adam Reichman and Elliott Placks.“Turnkey properties in Bellevue Hill are pretty rare to find at the moment,” Mr Reichman said.

The home, which sits on a 900-square metre block, features signature Rosselli curved staircase, breakfast nook off a designer kitchen with Shaker-style cabinetry and Calacatta marble island. The home’s six-bedrooms include two-attic like spaces with oculus dormer windows, while outside landscaped gardens surround a pool and cabana.the five-bedroom abode on Etham Avenue home was the “perfect family home” and is simply too big for her needs.

From the Barbie-pink front door to the rose-toned marble fireplace, the grand home is punctuated with bright details. “I love colour, especially pink,” Ms Ingham said of the home’s aesthetic created by Bourkeshire Interiors.Purchased for $7.8 million in 2009, the early 1900s manor features a heated pool and spa, harbour-view terrace, oak floors and a custom marble kitchen by DeGabriele Kitchens.
