Texas,United States,SAN ANTONIO

A family dealing with an alleged squatter inside their new home offered a message to other property owners on Fox & Friends this morning.

Yudith Matthews and Abram Mendez appear on Fox & Friends Thursday morning to talk about their ongoing situation with an alleged squatter

"He is getting in through the window, so I was recording him to have some proof of what was going on," Matthews said in the Fox & Friends interview. "We called the police and we didn't get any help from them.", the family says this started as a deal. They needed tile work done on a few floors, and an acquaintance said he could do it, but needed a place to stay for a few days.

The Mendezes are moving forward with the eviction process to remove the squatter. Officials in Precinct 2 of Bexar County confirm that paperwork was filed this week.
