Just last week an Akron Police Officer shot a 15-year-old boy on Brittain Road. According to Akron Police, a caller said the boy was pointing a gun, which ended up being fake, at people’s homes in the neighborhood. 19 News spoke to that caller who wanted to remain anonymous. They say they were concerned when they saw the teenager with a gun.

“It is a lot easier to see the situation when you are not in it or make assumptions when you are not in it, but it all happened so fast and it was actually terrifying.”Akron, Ohio - Just last week an Akron Police Officer shot a 15-year-old boy on Brittain Road.

“He was walking down Newton Street and so our paths kind of crossed. I didn’t think anything of it. He was just minding his own business,” says the caller.The callers says Tavion was crossing the street and started pointing the fake fun at houses. When asked about the fake gun Tavion was holding, his lawyer says he believes Tavion was within his rights.
