A housing estate in Co Cork fell victim to some of the most brazen behaviour imaginable this week as several cars were entered by a casual duo, who appeared to display little worry about getting caught.
Video footage, shown above, appears to show two men casually entering a parked car and scouring through the interior, all the while smoking cigarettes believed to have been nicked from a different car in the housing estate.CorkBeo reports that one resident, Sarah McGarry, woke up on Tuesday morning to discover that someone had been in her car and stolen a sum of money that she kept in case of emergencies.
"It was the audacity that got to me more than the theft itself, they were just casually sitting in my car smoking as they went through all the compartments," Sarah told CorkBeo. "They were only looking for cash as I had expensive headphones, perfume and a pair of Ray-Bans in the car but they didn't take any of them.
The incident, which is the latest in a number of thefts from cars in the area, has been reported to Gardai.
