Gig Harbor will need to come up with a new game plan to deal with a looming budget deficit after a proposed property tax increase showed strong opposition in early voting results.
However, preliminary results on Tuesday’s special election showed 69% of voters rejecting the increase. Updated results will be posted after 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
