Dark day in Yobe as fire razes three communities - Daily Post Nigeria

Garin Kaduwa, Daawa and Samo were the villages engulfed by the Saturday’s fire outbreak, thereby rendering many families homeless.

Report indicated that in Garin Kaduwa village alone, 37 households suffered great losses as their houses were all consumed by the blaze and no one is so far confirmed injured. The Director-Personnel Management overseeing Nangere Local Government, Usman Hassan Makeri confirmed the incident to DAILY POST Monday, pointing out that, “yes there was fire disaster in some villages under my Local Government Area.

He added that the local government is also in consultation with relevant stakeholders from the area to bring succour to the affected persons who virtually lost all their belongings to the inferno.
