The issue IMO is MP’s are not paid enough. They should be paid £200k a year; more for ministers and PM. BUT: they should not be allowed paid employment elsewhere and their tax returns and investments should be scrutinised by an independent body to guard against corruption.
This is why our country is a mess the rich get rich and we get ignored!
