Heavy monsoon rains and torrents of cold lava and mud flowing down a volcano’s slopes on Indonesia’s Sumatra island have triggered flash floods. Officials said on Sunday that at least 37 people were dead and more than a dozen others were missing.People examine the damage at an area badly affected by a flash flood in Tanah Datar, West Sumatra, Indonesia, Monday, May 13, 2024.
