SIBU: A 39-year-old woman has been sentenced to four years in prison by the Magistrate's Court on Wednesday after she pleaded guilty to 40 counts of fraud, resulting in losses amounting to RM1.011mil.
However, the court ordered the jail sentences for the first three charges to run consecutively, while the sentences for the remaining 37 charges would run concurrently.The accused was charged under Section 420 of the Penal Code for the offences.
