Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court , on Wednesday granted a N100 million bail to a mother Lola Disu and her son Ahmed Disu who were arraigned before the court last week for alleged N122million property theft.

The duo had earlier been remanded in Kirikiri prison after their arraignment pending the hearing of their bail application.

Although Police prosecutor, N.W Uhua opposed the bail application by the defendants, the judge granted them bail in the sum of N50 million each with two sureties. The duo were also alleged to have forged a court order with the inscription ‘possession taken by court order on June 25, 2021’ with the intent that it would be used against Uccas Resources Ltd and its Managing Director, Ukata Christian .
