The 24 people are alleged members of the Booker T Street gang, which operates near a housing project in Jersey City.

More than 20 members of a Hudson County street gang are facing federal charges for crimes related to an armed a robbery, a phony check scheme and drug trafficking.

An investigation into the gang’s activities found members were selling large quantities of narcotics including heroin, fentanyl and cocaine, authorities said. Federal authorities have also alleged that two members — Juan Hemmingway and Stephon Murphy — forced a man out of his car on May 6, threatened him with a gun and stole multiple items from him, including Percocet pills.
