Jimmie Brown. jbrown@pennlive.com.A buyer has stepped forward to purchase the former Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg where a high-profile redevelopment project is planned, according to the property owner.

But on Friday Hunter reversed his decision, including filing to evict the Bridge, saying the group can stay. He also said he will not sue the group for unpaid rent. The Bridge’s nonprofit arm, Empower at The Bridge Foundation, oversees gardens in the school’s former football field. Produce grown in the gardens, including a bleacher garden, is donated to those in need in the community.Hunter’s company owed $714,411 and $1 million, respectively, against loans, including unpaid principal balances, past due, accrued and default interest and late fees, according to the documents.
