Jibrin is also to serve as the Executive Director of the Federal Housing Authority to the committee which oversees jurisdiction in line with the Standing Orders of the House He is to oversee all federal housing programmes and Agencies, Federal Mortgage Banks, Federal Mortgage Finance, implementation of mortgage policies of the government, Family Homes Fund FHF, issues on housing and Annual budget estimates of the ministry and agencies.
In addition to specialized programmes of the United Nations Centre for Human Settlement: UNCUS Programmes, Promoting the implementation of the resolution of the regional Council for Africa of Global Parliamentarians on Habitat on institutionalizing Habitat Committees in parliaments of Member Countries to wit: State Assemblies and Local Governments.
