Tartan Army fans who splashed £2,000 on accommodation for the Euros in Germany were sent to a property that looked like a 'horror film dungeon' after being given beds made out of cardboard.

A group of Scotland fans who splashed £2,000 on accommodation for the Euros in Germany have told of their trip from hell after they were sent to an "abandoned dungeon".

The group were shocked when they arrived at an "abandoned medical facility" with old hospital beds, exposed chemicals and a maze of eerie damp hallways, reports the Daily Record.READ MORE: New suspect in Bible John murders named for the first time after being linked through DNA Rory explained: "We spent a lot of money to travel here and forked out £2,000 on accommodation on Booking.com.

He continued: "We walked to our alternative accommodation desperate to get to bed but when we arrived the place looked like a dungeon. "There was no way one person was sleeping there alone. We pulled the beds together before we decided we couldn't stay.The group then called Booking.com again but were told they couldn't have an alternative.
