Fury as property developer 'cuts down huge wood before applying for permission to build there'

A ROGUE property developer allegedly cut down a massive woodland - before applying for planning permission to build there.

Furious residents in Brixham, Devon, claim Dave Holloway reduced the forest to a muddy field to make way for nine houses.SWNS:South West News ServicePermission to develop the land has since been turned down by South Hams District Council.Holloway's application claims work has not yet begun on the site.Andy Love, 56, who owns a house backing onto the land, said: "In December last year a whole team of people showed up and started taking one tree after another down.
