Arlington police say they are investigating more than 20 deaths at the unlicensed community care homes. Many of the bodies have buried, cremated or donated to science.

In April, police said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of at least 20 people under Becquer’s care in at least five homes. At the time, authorities said they were investigating whether those were “suspicious or criminal in nature.”Many of Becquer’s clients who have died have been buried, cremated, or their bodies donated to science, making it “more challenging to investigate the deaths more thoroughly,” police Detective Krystallyne Robinson said Wednesday.
