Delaware County Sheriff's deputies assisted officers with the Delaware County Humane Society on June 25, seizing around 90 live animals a property on Todd Street Road. June 26, 2024
Those animals are now in the care of the Humane Society, and the Humane Society is working with the prosecutor's office to see if charges should be filed. It was that dog, sweet Rainbow, that may have saved the lives of dozens of these animals. In total, 81 birds and rabbits, along with 9 dogs. Cassidy also says many of the animals were chained up or caged, with no access to food or fresh water.
