Ogun State Government has said that it would from Monday, next week, begin allocation of 200 housing units to subscribers of the Kobape Phase III Housing Scheme.

The state’s Commissioner for Housing, Jamiu Akande Omoniyi, disclosed this, yesterday, during a media briefing.

Omoniyi, while putting to rest the controversies surrounding the allocation process, said that out of the 200 subscribers, 110 would get their allocation letters on Monday based on first come, first serve basis. The commissioner, who also noted that the 54 remaining subscribers would get their allocations in the next batch, as their files are currently being scrutinised.

Also, the state government has said that the Ibrara Housing regeneration is not meant for the highest bidders, noting that the scheme is about 40 per cent discount to what the current market value is.
