Paul Ainscough may have been pushed over two days before he was found dead at a property by police.

A man who was found dead at an address "might have been pushed over" in a pub beer garden two days earlier, police have said.

Lancashire Police said officers responding to a report of a sudden death found Paul Ainscough at a property on Hollinshead Street, Chorley, at about 16:10 BST on Monday. It said officers believed the 57-year-old was "involved in an incident" at the Stag on Worden Lane in Leyland between 16:30 and 19:30 two days before.

Appealing for information, a representative said a 32-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assault had since been bailed.They added that officers wanted to speak to anyone who was at the pub and saw what happened.
