The woman who lost her life following a disturbance at a Glasgow property on Thursday has been named by police.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Tummel Street in the Riddrie area of the city at around 7.40pm. Maxine Clark was discovered with serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite medics' best efforts. Officers charged a 32-year-old man in connection with the death of the 36-year-old woman. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow . A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark in Riddrie, Glasgow."Around 7.40pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street."Her family are aware."A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
