Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa and other guests during the ground-breaking for 250-housing unit Renewed Hope Estate in Ebonyi StatePresident Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope affordable housing programme has been flagged off in Delta State by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, and Deputy Governor, Monday Onyeme, who performed the groundbreaking ceremony.
According to the minister, 250-housing estate comprising 50 units of one-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, 150 units of two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, and 50 units of three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows would be built in Ekpan community, Uvwie local council, in the outskirts of Warri, where free land for the project has been provided.
The minister, in a chat with journalists, disclosed that the groundbreaking exercise for the renewed hope cities and estates, is going on all over the country after it was launched in February with the commissioning of a 3,112-housing unit in Karsana, Abuja, by the President.
