Mum-of-four Maxine Clark was discovered within a property on Tummel Street in Riddrie at around 7.40pm on Thursday.

Tributes have been paid to a "lovely lassie" who died after being found seriously injured in Glasgow.

Reacting to the news, Lorraine McConway said: "Heartbreaking. God bless you Maxine. Thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Joe and Maxine family xx" Michelle Ross added: "RIP Maxine. Thinking of your family and kids at this sad time. I remember you when I was in right track training centre. We had good laughs in right track. So heartbreaking."

"Emergency services attended, however Maxine, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family are aware.
