Police are investigating after a man's body was found in south Manchester. A cordon is currently in place on Platt Lane in Fallowfield following the discovery at about 8.50am today .
A section of the road was closed off between Lloyd Street South and Princess Road. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the body of a man in his 60s was found at a property.Detectives from the Major Incident Team of Greater Manchester Police were this afternoon examining whether or not there are suspicious circumstances. The scene remained cordoned off this afternoon while police were focusing on one property on Platt Lane.
