PETALING JAYA: Sabah, which is one of the poorest states in the country, has the highest number of people’s housing projects (PPR), numbering 39 projects, in the country, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

PETALING JAYA: Sabah, which is one of the poorest states in the country, has the highest number of people’s housing projects , numbering 39 projects, in the country, the Dewan Rakyat was told.

The 39 projects comprise 26,299 units, of which 24,009 have been built, housing and local government minister Nga Kor Ming said.Three projects consisting of 2,090 units are being constructed, and one project comprising 200 units is being planned. Nga also said Sandakan has the most number of PPR units built with 6,080, or 7.8% of the projects nationwide.
