Parlaiment,Question Time

Wednesday’s edition of Question Time is now underway in Canberra, with a lively debate expected on a number of different topics.

WATCH LIVE: Housing affordability in focus as Labor spruiks Future Made in Australia Act during Question Time

The opposition is using the last Question Time to pressure the Albanese government over housing affordability, with Labor instead trying to shift focus onto its Future Made in Australia policy. Watch live on Sky News Australia from 2pm AEST. Labor’s new Future Made in Australia Act had been expected to garner significant attention, while the Coalition’s plan to bring in divestiture powers for the supermarket sector if elected was also believed to come under scrutiny.

However, the opposition instead came out swinging on housing affordability, pressuring Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over migration and the cost of living. While Mr Albanese hit back, talking up the government's revised stage three tax cuts and arguing migration had been"broken" under the Coalition, he also sought to shift debate away from the issue, focusing back on the Future Made in Australia Act and attacking the opposition's nuclear plans.
